Dr. Appointment!

Audrey had her 2 month appointment this morning and the girl has been doing some serious growing! She is in the 50% for weight at 10lbs 10.5oz and in 90%(!) for height at 23.5inches!!! She's grown 4.5 inches since she's been born! Long & lean...supermodeldom here we come :) The doctor said she has very strong legs and will probably walk early (you know, to practice her catwalk!) She took her shots well...more tears from me, I think. I'm a very proud mama today!!!

2 Months...& Santa!

Audrey is 2 months old today...all I can say is WOW! So much has changed since she's been born! She is one happy baby, that's for sure. She smiles ALL of the time, and I even caught her giggling at Hays yesterday. Poor dog was yacking up something and apparently that's funny in Audrey's world. We weighed her this morning and she came in at 10lbs 10.5oz which means she's gained 4lbs since leaving the hospital. And as special treat for mom and dad, Audrey slept from 9:30pm to 7am last night...Good girl! I really think the key to her sleeping so well is the swaddling blanket, it's basically a straight jacket, but it keeps her comfy cozy :) Since she's all tucked in at night, this how she likes to nap during the day...

And Audrey went to see santa last night...here's a picture of a picture. It's nice to see one of them looking at the camera! And if you look real close, you'll see Audrey's got something to say to all the non-believers!

In sleeping news: Audrey slept 8 hours straight last night!!!!!!!!!!

Also, we are leaving our sweet baby girl for the 1st time this weekend to attend a wedding in South Bend. I'm incredibly nervous, but am really looking forward to enjoying some adult beverages and dancing with my husband, Ben "i can really cut a rug" Cooke, ha ha ha.
