Around 8 months the bumbo seat becomes completely useless. Please see the battle of Audrey v. Bumbo:

10 Months!

It's the 11th & Audrey is another month older! I'm sure you can guess how I'm feeling, so let's just get to the pictures!!!

It is getting increasingly harder to take a picture of Audrey in the green chair. Here's a little glimpse into how our photo shoot went this morning and what I can only imagine was going on in Audrey's head...

"This sign has no chance, haven't you learned that yet mom?"

"Alright, time to make my escape"


"Oh, wait! Who is that gorgeous baby???"

"Let me see if I can get a closer look"

"Hey thanks mom for getting me my teddy in hopes of getting a smile out of me..."

"...but I think I'll just take a little snooze right here"

"Oh hi Hays! Did you really think an outfit change would make this any easier"

"Well, how about a little kissy face?"

"Here!! Here's your smile!! Happy 10 months to me!!!"

The Clapper!!! Audrey was so happy when daddy came home from work today!

I think I'm slowly losing the battle of who Audrey looks like more, don't you think?

Summer Lovin'

Wow! I am actually able to upload pictures on the ancient Dell desktop I pulled out of storage! Perhaps, the blog will come back to life :)

We've been having lots of fun this summer! A long trip to see Mom Mom & Pop Pop at the Jersey shore, lots of playdates, and just enjoying the beautiful Cleveland weather.

Our little girl is growing up FAST! She is standing for a few seconds on her own, loves to clap her hands & has 3 teeth!. I can't believe she'll be 10 months next week! Do I really have to start planning her 1st birthday party??? YIKES!

Momma, what's vacation mean?

Coming to you from the sandy beaches of North Wildwood, NJ! Here's Miss Audrey, our bathing beauty :)

9 months!! (+2 days)

Audrey turned 9 months old on Saturday! Again, and I say this every month, where the heck is time going???? So what's Audrey up to these days?

She's:

-crawling everywhere and doing it super fast, she definitely keeps me on my toes

-cruising around the furniture

-dancing (as seen in the video below)

-saying "dog" to Hays, "baby" to the little baby on the diaper package, "mama" (yeah!!!), "dada", and lots of other babbling

-possibly cutting her top two teeth...we'll see

-eating everything in sight, but still a little peanut

-finally starting to grow some hair

-just generally the happiest baby I ever saw!

I didn't make the sign this sign this month because a. she usually just eats it and b. we were busy celebrating another birthday: The big 3-0 for Ben!!
